How to add two sensors to one WiFi hub?

I have 2 garage doors with two Chamberlain garage door openers model LW300EV, MyQ compatible. I purchased the chamberlain smart garage MYQ-G0301 with two sensors. I connected the WiFi hub with my home network and was able to set up one sensor through the MyQ app on my iPhone. I am unable to set up the second sensor. When I go to places I see my one garage door set up, but when I hit the + button to add an accessory, to add the second sensor it prompts me for an additional place. How do I set up the second sensor on the WiFi hub for my second garage door (second garage door has the same model garage door opener hooked up to it- ie I have two garage door openers )?
Do I add a second place with the same hub serial number? Any help would be appreciated.

Josh, here are some tips on adding devices to your MyQ account: https://goo.gl/9mkyyV. If these don't solve the issue, let me know and we'll figure out next steps. Lauren

I followed the prompt and directions from your link for the MyQ Home Control App. But when I get to the locate the door sensor by hitting the test button for my second sensor, the sensor light blinks yellow and does not get recognized by the WiFi hub with a beep like the first sensor. Either I am doing the setup incorrectly or something is missing in the directions.

Josh, there is not currently a second sensor for the MyQ Smart Garage Hub. Unless you purchased two full kits and are using the second sensor from one of the kits, I am assuming you have purchased part number MYQ-G0202, which is not compatible with the newer Smart Garage Hub system. That additional sensor was for pairing with the now discontinued MYQ-G0201 MyQ Garage system. I think you'll need to return the extra sensor and wait a few weeks until they release the MYQ-G0302

I tried to setup my 2nd sensor for the Smart Garage Hub and ended up with the issue as Robert where the iOS app did not show the garage door sensor option for the second door. I even reset the Smart Garage Hub and Home Bridge and started the setup again. I also tried the Android app to see in case there was a defect in the iOS app. Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to get my Smart Garage Hub working with both garage doors as it has been a very useful device. Thanks.

Exact same issue as Robert. I found directions to add openers manually and that worked except I still have no way to add the opener to my MyQ account, so while the hub opened the door when pressing the buttons on the hub, it’s worthless if I can’t use the app to control my doors. If anyone has ever gotten a 0301, using the right door sensors, to work with two doors, I’d love to hear it. I’m convinced that until the app or the firmware is fixed, it plain and simple doesn’t work.
If someone could force create an opener in my account tied to side 2 of the hub, then it could work maybe. By the way, both my sensors manually connect and test properly with 1 beep and 2 beeps so I know I have the right sensors. I originally bought the wrong one on amazon for my second door so now I am sure this one is right. One door is no problem, second device hangs awaiting sensor.

I eventually was able to get the prompt for the 2nd door sensor after a factory default reset of my Smart Garage Hub. After I paired the 2nd door sensor, I was able to select and program the garage door opener. Here's a link to the reset instructions.

Thanks Dean! I was able to finally get it to work. Doing a full defaulting finally got it to work as instructed. The main issue I was having was I thought I was defaulting the unit by holding in the gear button but this only clears the WiFi settings. It requires a bit more button gymnastics to default the unit; as outlined in the tech document you posted.
Also, I have the HomeKit hub and was able to get both doors transferred. When transferring the second door (just the second door not the first) you have to lie to the step to clear WiFi (say you did it when you didn’t and say yes to blinking blue light even though it’s not) because you already did it for the first door.... then It works great.

I've reset my hub multiple times and get the same results every time. - i.e. never able to add the 2nd door.  I'm at the point now where I get the beeps for each door when I push the button on each of the sensors, but only 1 door appears in the app and transfers to home bridge (homekit).  Did you guys do something different when doing the setup after the reset?  Just trying to understand how repeating the same process after reset gave you a different result.  Appreciate any additional insight.  I've been at this for 4 months now with no success.

I have the same issue. I’m getting a little frustrated. I have set up on opener with the hub and paired the second sensor with the hub but can’t add it to my app or pair the hub with the second opener. I wish there was clear instruction somewhere you could refer to.
