HomeKit out of sync after manually opening/closing door

Got the HomeKit integration working via the Bridge and it works fine. The only issue so far is that HomeKit doesn't get updated when I use my opener to open/close the door. For example, I used Siri to open the door when I came home but closed it with the wall button by the door. Home still shows the door as open as does the Chamberlain iOS app.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a communication issue with the door sensor (MYQ-GO202) as if it isn’t aware of the current status once it opens and then shuts...?

I moved the Bridge closer to the Hub & sensor and it seems to be reporting status correctly. I’m guessing that means the sensor talks directly to the Bridge.

Bill, when the app and the door get out of sync, try opening and closing the door twice using the wall switch. This should re-sync the app. Let me know if this works. Lauren

I'll try that next time. Can you explain the way the sensor and Hub communicate with the Bridge after pairing? Is the distance from them to the Hub important or do the Bridge, Hub, and sensor communicate over the WiFi network.
