Homekit Bridge not working outside garage

I cannot get the Homekit bridge to work within or outside the house.  Works fine if I am in the garage, but if I leave the garage and close the door it does not work. My other homekit devices work fine outside the home with the 3 Apple TV's that I have in the house.

I'm having the same problem. I have just bought a bridge for my garage door opener and it only works when my car is inside garage and when I move the car out and close the door it does not work. S/N: GW0F0006706B

Matthew, let's start by resetting the MyQ Home Bridge. Here are the instructions: https://goo.gl/Bri9Tz. If this doesn't solve the issue, please send me a note and we'll get technical support involved. Lauren

Thanks for your reply. My Lift Master garage door opener (8550)already has builtin MyQ bridge and it works using MyQ app on my iPhone, but I added a compatibility bridge to be able to setup the HomeLink in my older car and  this compatibility bridge is not working when my car is outside.

Matthew, I see. So it's HomeLink in your car that's misbehaving, right? Take a look at this video and see if that does the trick: https://goo.gl/a8kU8b. If not, we'll take a different approach. Lauren
