Hi I am having one problem after another installing your garage door opener via smartphone product. My first problem is that the bluetooth does not pair and I am using a standard iphone 6 and the green light is on for the hub. then..the app is saying I need a firmware update but it never downloads and finally, a yellow light flashes on the brand new controller that goes on the door...but it makes no sound and that sets the hub into blinking..argh. Help!

George He, Can you give me some details about what exactly isn't working, and what you've tried so far? Thanks, Chuck

Thank you Chuck.  Just to add an information, i can see the MyQ-XXX wireless network in the available network, but when i tried to join, said "no wireless connection", so i thought the first step wasn't done.  then i tried several steps and none seems to be working...

For anyone needing assistance managing setup for MyQ Garage/MyQ Smart Garage Hub, try these steps:

1. With your mobile device, access your Wi-Fi settings and select MyQ followed by the last three digits of your device's serial number.

2. Launch the web browser and go to setup.myqdevice.com.
- For Android, use Chrome.

3. On setup.myqdevice.com, follow the on-screen prompts to add your garage door opener to your home Wi-Fi network.

4. When the MyQ Wi-Fi setup page opens, complete the setup by following the steps provided.

Let us know how that goes, and we'll be happy to help as needed.

Thanks,
Chuck

thank you.  unfortunately it didn't work.  When connecting the wifi said "No Internet connection", so the browser come with a message of failure and did not move on...

Thank you Chuck!..i received assistance and now i have it working... awesome job from you guys.  really supportive.  In time, seems cache was avoiding the setup from working.  Here is a hint.  if the steps doesn't work, clean memory cache closing all you have in the phone, and start over.

These tips are fabulous.  After months of headache I finally rediscovered the network and got both garage doors programmed.  Just to give everyone a tip.  Before step 1 I had to press the settings button on my hub again in order to see the myq network on my phone to join it. Once I did that everything else fell into place.

Worked like a charm for me! Just like others in this thread the MyQ hub did not have a bluetooth option for me to connect to. This WiFi work around did the trick. Thank you.
