Getting alerts that the door is open when it is not.

For the past two days I have received alerts that by Garage Door is open when it is not.  Yesterday I got two alerts, today it was about 8 in a row.  I called a neighbor and no one is at the house and the door is closed.  Is my unit defective?  its been working for months without issue.

I am having the same problem.  I think it started a few weeks ago.  The door shows that it is open when it is, in fact, closed.  When you "close" it using the app, the door opens.  Is there a solution to this yet?

Having issues with my MyQ wifi garage door opener now . MyQ app shows that door is up when it's really down or vice versa. App freaks out sometimes saying it's received too many commands to close.
Anyone else see these problems or know how to fix?
I recently changed my router to a Netgear Orbi but everything else is working great.

Same here. Mine did an "Open" repeatedly within a minute of each other about 4 times. At first I thought it was triggered by the wind but that wouldn't make sense since the door is actually closed.

Update.  I just changed the battery in the sensor, and the app picked it up right away.  Now it shows the door as being closed.  Hopefully, that's all it is.

Try changing the battery just the same.  Sometimes, the batteries in the package are old and/or defective.  I have had that issue with Duracell a few times.

I get this and every now and then I climb a ladder and unplug the unit to "reboot" it.  That works for a few weeks.  This is the unit I have:

This is interesting and likely related to the they have with schedule to close. They disabled that feature because if the sensor had low batteries it apparently might not close the door (or know the state of the door sensor or something). Now it seems to also cause an issue for regular alerts and use unrelated to scheduling, just as I feared and presumed it would. This seems like an underlying design flaw of the sensor. Pretty big deal and Chamberlain is refusing the provide more details on the issue. This is a security issue and they won't come clean.

Same here.  We are constantly getting alerts that the garage is open when it's not.  To the point where we have had to stop any and all alerts, which pretty much eliminated the need for having the device in the first place.  Very disappointing.  And I don't see any resolution to this online at all.
