Genie Pro 1024 won't program

After replacing both batteries in my garage door sensors I had to reprogram each garage door to the MyQ Smart Garage Hub. After selecting the garage door opener as Genie, all 4 steps fail on either of my doors. I tried clearing the codes on one garage door opener without success. I was quickly able to re-pair both cars Homelinks and garage remotes. Stuck!

I was never contacted by customer service so I've been living with it in monitor only mode. MyQ I would still be interested in support with this issue.

I can get it to connect, but it wont open or close. When I program a remote - you press the Learn Code, then the LED blinks. You press the remote it goes solid. You press the remote again the light goes off. And the stock door opener works.

When I pair with the MyQ. I press the Learn button - LED Blinks. The MyQ Connects and the light goes solid. BUT the remote button push that makes other remotes work doesnt happen in the setup, and I think thats the missing piece. I tried manually push the door sensor to simulate what you do with a regular remote but it doesnt work

I did the exact same thing without luck. The MyQ was working with the doors until my sensor batteries died and dropped off the list of garage doors in the app.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for the note and I apologize you weren't contacted by customer service.  We can definitely help resolve this issue.

Since your garage door openers are in monitor mode indicates the sensors were successfully added, but that the garage doors did not successfully learn.

Please go through the following steps:
  1. Reset the hub - (follow directions for factory default) - https://tinyurl.com/y979oodd
  2.  Reconnect the hub to Wi-Fi - https://tinyurl.com/ybmy4gb2
  3. Connect the garage doors to the hub in the MyQ apphttps://tinyurl.com/ybaxqcgo
Let us know how this goes and if you have any other questions.

Best, Chuck
