Genie / 2 garage door porgraming

For a year my system worked flawlessly.  Then the other day Door #1 stopped working.  I tried to reprogram it, and it turned out the sensor battery died on Door #1.  So I replaced both sensor batteries.

I tried to reprogram everything, which may have been a mistake.  Now, when I push the program button on Door #1 during the program process, Door #2 opens halfway, stops, closes, and Door #1 opens and closes.  Then it says it is programmed.  When I use the app to open the door, it is opening both doors at the same time.

I am not even sure why Door #2 is being picked up during the programming process, because I am not even pushing the program button on Door #9 at the time.  Any idea why?  This worked flawlessly for 1 year.

I have the exact same issue. Once programmed, one side opens both doors while the other one opens only one door. This unit has been nothing but frustrations since I got it. Alex

Alex, can you tell me which MyQ device/s you're using? Lauren

Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door Controller (I believe it goes by MyQ Homekit or Smart Garrage Door Opener). It is the wifi hub that connects to the home network and two door sensors. I have no problems getting it to work but with my right door setup, it picks up the other side as well. I have 2 Craftsman units operating 2 doors separately. Thx.
