Garage door opens by itself after installing MyQ Home Bridge

Well, We got MyQ Chamberlain Garage door opener with my newly built house on November 2016. Everything was working fine, as expected, for a year and a half with no issues since I decided to purchase MyQ Home Bridge (MyQ-G0303-SP). I installed it and second day has been doing the “Phantom thing”, four times since installed. I installed, as well, the app on my wife’s iPhone and on mine. I didn’t replace the bulbs, I checked the wires and are not any loose, I don’t believe any other neighbor’s remote opener got my code since I had to reprogram them(2 remote controls & wall’s). And still opening and closing by itself. First time it opened, second time it closed, third time it opened and today it opened and close within a minute!
I have a 6 and 2 year old kids and I am really concerned about my family security, since I frequently travel out of town for work and don’t want the door suddenly opens at nighttime or daytime and nobody in house noticing it. Sometimes we cannot hear when it opens or closes.

We need a real answer, it looks it is something happening from a couple years ago and Chamberlain has not been able to solve this issue.

Not sure the cause other than a prank with Siri but you really should delete that photo cause with the code showing anyone can add that to their phone and take control of your door

A way to fully rule the MyQ from the equation though is to pull the power on it for a day or two to see if it stops happening. Or to reset the learner codes on the door opener very late at night when you expect no one in range trying to open or close their door

Just a couple options.

With this bridge you can add it to your phone to get alerts from HomeKit to let you know when it opens or closes as wel

Thanks a lot Michael. Will disconnect it . I’ll keep you posted.
I am more concerned since I couldn’t delete the picture I uploaded.

My is doing the same thing. I wonder if a neighbor may have been operating theirs while I was setting up my Bridge. I will have to look up how to reset the opener frequency.

In Apple HomeKit you can set alerts on activity of your devices I have one sent every time the door opens or closes. Just to make sure I know.
