Garage door opener will not connect to MyQ Smart Garage Hub

I have a Chamberlain model 7320 built in 2001 with an orange learn button and it will not connect to the MyQ Smart Garage Hub model MYQ-G0301-D. I have verified that according to the documentation my opener is fully compatible. I have reset the hub several times and gone through the setup process start to finish. I made sure the door sensor provided with the hub is paired and communicating with the hub. I have also wiped out all codes from the opener. The hub successfully connects to my wifi and will appear in my app and my account but when I try to add a device it just spins and spins then says no device added. When I say yes to using a door sensor it immediately pops up an error stating "You have reached the maximum number of doors. Please add an additional hub or remove an existing door" but I do not have any doors/devices added....  I am very frustrated that this process is so complicated. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Returned the product, non of the solutions worked. Shouldn't be this difficult.

This is happening to my father in law right now, but I installed 2 hubs with no problem.  It must be a bug.

Yeah it shouldn't be this difficult. I returned it and bought the MyQ internet hub with the garage door attachment. It wires in directly and is specifically for Security+ openers. We'll see how that does.

I just the Chamberlain MYQ-G0301 along with an additional sensor for my second garage door.  I have gone through the setup options several times and continue to have errors.  The Hub connected to my wi-fi with no issues, but when I try to finish the setup, I am receiving a message that the setup completed unsuccessfully, please try again.  This is very frustrating.  On top of everything else, my second garage door opening (Lift-Master) turned out to be incompatible, so that was a waste of $$$.  Very frustrated.

Hi Chris,

We are sorry that you are having issues with setup. Do you have iOS or Android? Also, are you using the manual or a Quick start guide?

My father in law is having the same issue with the same model opener.  The hub connects fine but when I try to pair the app with the opener it never connects and says the door is in monitor only mode.

I am having a similar issue.  I have one device connected - garage door opener, but I cannot get the second device - garage door opener to connect to connect.  I should have done more research before buying this product.  This should be slam dunk.  The first one installed in minutes.  this second one is not connecting for some reason.  The unit I have is 8360WL.

Same issue. Just moved into a new home with a Chamberlain opener. The previous owner lost her remote, so the agent gifted us with a MyQ smart hub.
The opener was manufactured in 2006 and has the orange button, which the documentation indicates should mean it's compatible, but it will not pair.
The hub connected with my wifi and sensor without issue. I'm at a loss since there doesn't seem to be much troubleshooting or support documentation for this issue.
