Free HomeKit MyQ Bridge Refund Question

Good Afternoon,
I'm looking for an update about the Free HomeKit Bridge program. I purchased the HomeKit bridge as soon as it was available and before the announcement of the free bridge offer to community members. I registered for a refund as instructed, but have yet to see a credit as promised. 
I received an email yesterday that my "FREE MyQ Home Bridge request has been honored and that we are processing your shipment." This was likely a generalized / form letter message, but I wanted to verify that I will be receiving a refund and not an additional HomeKit bridge. I apologize in advance if this is a repeat question.

This was the post (with included link) from the Community Manager shortly after the program was announced

MacPro, I'm very sorry, but that was a test email that wasn't intended to be sent out publicly. If you signed up for a refund, that's what you'll receive. Refunds (and free MyQ Home Bridge units) will start being fulfilled in the next week or two. Let me know if you have any questions. Lauren

Hi Lauren looks like an update to the app for iOS broke the discovery option I called in and got it escalated.

That makes sense, I tried everything and couldn’t have the app discover. Ended up setting up via wifi area in settings of iPhone then used serial number in myq app, then added bridge with home app and I’m up and running. Only thing is that myq app is unaware of the homekit setup.

By the way thanks for the free unit chamberlain!

Hello - I have requested the Homekit compatible bridge via the link above, but have not seen any updates / shipments.  Furthermore there does not seem to be a way to obtain the item in Canada.  Can you please advise?

Betty, the free MyQ Home Bridge units will begin to ship to eligible customers in the next week or two. The device can be purchased on the LiftMaster website: https://goo.gl/hgh4hv. Note: it's more expensive that the price listed on the Chamberlain website. Let me know if you have any more questions. Lauren

When I called today to check on status, they mentioned there are only two agents who are processing the refund and free requests, and that it will take some time.

Nothing on my end yet. Lauren, for those of us waiting on a refund, will we be getting a check or be refunding via our original order payment method / credit card? Just want to know what I should be watching out for.

Still ‘patiently’ waiting on that refund. Lauren, still no word on method refund will be processed (check , card, etc)? I was really hoping to get this refund by the end of the year, especially seeing how I submitted the form for my refund within an hour of the refund / free hub announcement. Thanks

Hi michael, I checked and your email address is not on the list. To qualify for a refund, you had to submit proof of purchase on or before Oct.15.  Chuck

Chuck, I absolutely did fill out the form. It was a few days after the notification came out on the forum. I purchased the gateway earlier this year. How can we get this fixed?

Yes, that's what I'm saying, I filled out the form a few days after it came out, would have been either Friday night or Saturday night 6th or 7th. I went back later to check on the status and the form said it was no longer available. Please check again,

Chuck, can you find out what happened? I definitely filled out the form and submitted it. So I don't understand why you're not seeing my name. Please advise.

Early Canadian adapter that managed to get the bridge just after it came out, but no status on refund.  In fact it looks like Chamberlain trying to get out of their commitment to provide a bridge or refund to pre Sept '17 members that completed refund form as requested.  Why???

Martin, we are absolutely not trying to get out of providing refunds for eligible users. There was a delay getting out refund checks. Lauren

Looking for someone to confirm either way if I and when I will qualify for refund.  Signed up for forum on Feb 18 2017, completed online form for refund prior to deadline.  Received an email on November 20th confirming that I qualified and refund would be issued in two weeks.  On Dec 26 requested clarification and updated timeline where I was sent the following "The promotion you mention in your recent email was for current members of the MyQ Community. Please provide to me the email address you used when you joined the MyQ Community. As long as we show you were a member of the MyQ Community on or before 09/15/2017 I will consider your request for a refund. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have questions or concerns."  If Chamberlain has sent an email that I qualify, why the need to recheck?

Martin, all of the information you sent makes it appear that you're eligible. It could simply be the recent delay processing refunds. Lauren

Any news on the hardware shipments? I still have not seen any kind of indication that a hub has been / will be shipped out...

Thanks Chuck! Just trying to make sure my submission did not get lost somewhere in the sea of bits as I have not received anything yet. I had my system installed quite a while ago and was eagerly watching to threads to get the HomeKit support. It now seems to close, and I don’t want to miss out on it!

Hi Betty, just wanted to follow up and let you know all devices have been delivered, and if you haven't received a Home Bridge yet, then you didn't qualify.  The requirements included being a Community member on or before 9/30/17, as well as completing the online form between Oct.1-15. Betty if you ordered same time as me you should have t now. Mine was delivered about 3 weeks ago I believe I did it back in October.
