Figure out how to tell ALL your system is down!

Can't connect to my garage door - says I have a network connection error, check connection and try again.
I did and same problem, tried connecting directly to the router, same error. Reset router - and same error...
Meanwhile on hold with Chamberlain for 30 minutes and then call gets disconnected (chamberlain hangs up, WTF?).
About to press reset button on Chamberlain gateway and restart device at point zero, when second call to Chamberlain support finally gets through.
Tech support states their system is down and my gateway is not the issue!
Dang folks either set up voicemail that notifies callers OR broadcast to users cell phones that your Friggen system is DOWN!
WASTED TWO HOURS!
