Im looking for a second door sensor (MYQ G0302) for the new hub.  I understand that the G0202 does not work.  Are the G0302's not available yet?

Wow. This is a disappointing response. What is the timeframe to have additional sensors available?

I too have asked this question and was told 'will get back...' since then nothing. Without an ETA, what are we supposed to do with the second garage door?

FYI I just received a response from tech support that says:

"Thank you for your inquiry. I do apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing. The additional sensors for the Smart Hub are not available until 11/15/2017."

I’m frustrated that not only would they “not expect” demand for extra sensors, especially given that the previous version has been out for a while.. but that the “new version” still only supports 2 garage doors..

Then there’s the matter of being sold a HomeKit compatible device that wasn’t HomeKit compatible without buying more stuff.

I then find out I can only get my Home bridge comped if I was previously a member of this forum.

Just endless frustration and I feel foolish for continuing to support it.

I am pretty sure that the extra sensors are on the “Homebridge” timeline. “Coming soon” will mean 2 years from now and you’ll have to pay a subscription to add a second door.

And I’m sure this will be forwarded to the executive team for their review.

Edward, have you tried reprogramming it with the new system? Directions for how to do that are available at this link: http://bit.ly/2CFoJoM. I hope that helps. Lauren

Thanks. one last question. I just changed my router in my house and it caused my app to show that my Garage Door is "Offline", which makes sense but I can't find out how to change WiFi connection or even delete the "Device" I have set up and reinstall it with the new WiFi? any suggestion.

Edward, I recommend trying the following tips from this guide: http://bit.ly/2DFDhGo.
  1. Power cycle the router. Unplug the router and plug back in. Note: Once connected if the solid green light goes to a flashing blue and green, try power cycling the router.
  2. Check to see if the router is compatible.
  3. Test the Wi-Fi signal next to the MyQ W-Fi product. How to test the Wi-Fi signal strength in my garage
  4. MyQ Garage only (Does not work for Smart Garage Hub) - If using the iPhone Bluetooth for setup, verify that the wireless router is on a 2.4GHz frequency. The hub will not connect to router if the router is set to only operate at 5GHz frequency. If you are unsure how to check this, contact your router manufacturer.
  5. Check to see if the MyQ Wi-Fi product is within range of the router (between 50 to 150 ft).   If the Wi-Fi signal in the garage is low, move the router closer to the garage or get a Wi-Fi extender (see below). If it's a Wi-Fi garage door opener, an Internet Gateway can be used if the low signal.
  6. If any changes have been made to the wireless network name, password or security, erase the Wi-Fi settings in the test the Wi-Fi signal strength in my garage or  and set up the Wi-Fi again.
  7. Verify that the router security is set to a preferred setting. We recommend WPA2 with no mix mode. If the router has option for channel bandwidth, we recommend setting it to 20mhz. If you are unsure how to check this, contact your router manufacturer.
  8. The MyQ Wi-Fi product is only compatible with 802.11 B/G/N. If the router is only configured for 802.11AC, it will not work. If you are unsure how to check this, contact your router manufacturer.
Let me know if that gets things connected again, or if I can help you further.

Thanks,
Chuck

This is great information. I checked my WiFi router and it's configured correctly to 802.11 and is supported by B,G,N. Is there a way on the App(MyQ) to change my WiFi name, since I just changed it the other day. Then I thought I could pick my new WiFi name on the network and it should work? just can't find out how to find the WiFi on the app..
