Events history not logging MyQ Garage

Sometime yesterday, MyQ Garage stopped sending notifications on open/close and when I looked at the event history, last event logged was yesterday and we had opened/closed the garage multiple times today.  Also the unit is becoming less responsive recently.  If I wait for some time, it will open but again, no log.  I may have to tap on the icon multiple times before it errors out and then it will become responsive.  I addition, there is no longer flashing and beeping warning when I close it.

Dave, our tech team thinks the battery in your door sensor might be getting low. Please try replacing the battery and let me know if that solves the problem. Lauren

What is “sensor battery”, and on what? The internet bridge?

Marco Polo - the battery in the door sensor. Here's an article that outlines how to test the door sensor battery to see if it needs to be replaced:  http://bit.ly/2xBhNaz

I'm having the same issue. I only have 2 days of notifications, but the last one is yesterday around 5pm CDT. I get notifications but nothing is logged.

OP here...I went to store to find the battery but couldn't find it in stock so will be ordering some.  Strangely, after I posted this issue, the logging started again the next day so I cannot confirm if the battery is the issue but I can see how the remote unit on the door can cause the same problem, just not sure if my issue is the same root cause.  I will update if it happens again and will be testing the battery before I replace to validate.

OP here again...one more comment.  Since I was not sure at that time if removing the battery will require me to resynch, with the hub, I chose to leave it alone. What I did do was open up the cover and jiggled the battery a bit but again, not sure if that was the fix.  I will follow the battery testing procedure provided above and will admit I did not know how to test the battery without removing it and putting on my tester :)

Dave - thanks for the update, and yes, following the door sensor battery test is recommended.

Marco - your symptoms seem to be different than mine. My open/close events were not logged and I was not receiving notifications either.  I was able to open and close the garage from my iPhone but it was never logged and I did not receive notifications.

Mark, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Give this a try and if it doesn't solve the issue, post a note here and we'll figure out net steps.

Hi there! I have the same issue. My phone notifies me when the garage door is open or closed, but when I check the app, the events section reported nothing

I have the same problem. When I left for work this morning, I did not receive an alert and the event was not in my history, but I definitely opened and closed the garage door all the way. What’s even more peculiar is that it sent an alert and showed up in History when my son opened and closed the garage door after school today.
