Error processing request (217) - Case Number: 20171222-536672

I am stuck with a 217 error code. Multiple days since the ticket creation and hour already spent with support. Escalated support ticket now but can’t get anyone to call me live.

Customer support sent me a workaround and it didn't work. Quite frustrating.

Hey all.  I read many forums this morning trying to fix what appears to be the same problem you all are having (error217).  My gateway would not connect and finally got in touch with a live person who knew what they were talking about.  They said that the server that was being used for these gateways is no longer being used and that a lot of gateways will no longer work.  How long this has been an issue I don't know because I haven't used mine for 5 years or so.  I asked for the direct line to this office so I could share with you all.  18005289131.  Michelle was very helpful.  they are sending me a new gateway.  I have a craftsman model number 139.3043 with an assurelink gateway.  Hope this can help someone else as well.   Good luck!!!

I called and same response, they cannot fix so they are shipping me a new gateway for my Chamberlain garage door opener.
