My Door Senor is not communicating correctly with my Wifi Hub. I have tried resetting both devices, clearing the programming codes, replacing the battery, and nothing has worked.
The orange light on the door sensor lights up, however when I press it the wifi hub does not beep or flash the LED. I have tried manually programming the sensor by pressing the "1" button on the back of the wifi hub, but no luck. I have also held the button to clear and try again.
The door will open/close through the app just fine, it just won't report correctly through the app, and only let's me do it twice before I have to reset it again.
Like I said, I've tried everything imaginable, including 3 different CR2450 batteries, and nothing has worked.

How far away is the door sensor from the gateway /wifi hub? Can you try moving the hub closer to the sensor?

I am having the exact same issues as Casey originally described in his post. Is there a fix for this or is it a common defect?

Totally agree. These Bluetooth smart accessories are an utter waste of money. I have Elgato eve weather as well, and that is also painfully slow to update. Will check Xiomi Aqara Is that home kit enabled? cctv camera installation dubai
