Door often says it's open when it's not

I've been using myQ for a couple of weeks now. It seems to always recognize when the door is opened (either via myQ or through my normal garage door opener), but it often does not recognize when the door is closed. If I try to close it via myQ, it will say there were too many errors and I can't control it any more. If I close it via my normal garage door opener, it will just say that the door is left open. Luckily, I have a Nest camera where I can see the garage door so I can check if it is actually left open, but being so unreliable, I'm starting to think this is pretty useless.

I read some posts that recommended changing the battery. I did, but it hasn't helped. The sensor is about 8 feet away from the bridge, about 4 feet below it.

I'm having the same issue. I just purchased and installed the device in the last 2 weeks. I received the notification that the door was open this afternoon, while I was at work. My wife and I both rushed home to find the door closed.

Is Chamberlain resolving this issue? Or is Chamberlain abandoning this product line?
