My opener keeps bending and breaking the straight connecting rod between the trolley and the curved door arm connected to the door. I've been through 3. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Do you have any pics of the area? I've noticed that my door now 'pops' near the top when opening at the curve and it hasn't ever done that in the past 10 years. I've only had the Chamberlain for about a year I think.

Close the garage door fully, then pull the trolley disconnect so that the door is set free from the trolley. Now manually open and close the door fully many times. Any binding or difficult locations during door travel? If yes, contact a door expert for repair. If no door motion issues, reconnect the trolley and review the door's fully closed position. Is the door being forced by the opener too far toward the ground? If needed, adjust the full closed door position. Test the closing door entrapment safety systems after any opener limit adjustments (see opener's manual).
