Does a new WiFi enabled opener still require a home bridge to be able to use Apple Home and/or Siri?

Ken, thanks for reaching out. Yes, if you want your Wi-Fi opener to be HomeKit-enabled, this integration will require a MyQ Home Bridge. Let me know if you have any other questions.  Chuck

Unfortunately yes. That sure hurts. You spend 150 on the MyQ hub and on top of that you need the bridge as well. Not a very bright system or solution.
