Connecting two 8550W (each with an 880LMV) using Alarm.com

Is there a wat to connect two 8550W (garage door openers) each with their own 880LMW (Smart Control Panel via Alarm.com?  I had those two installed this weekend and I am able to connect only one of the 880LMW at a time with Alarm.com.  However, I can connect both using the MyQ application.  I rather have all the accesses in one app (Alarm.com) since I have a number of devices controlled by them.   Three calls to Alarm.com resulted in three lengthy useless troubleshooting.  With them, I can only register one serial number at a time.  During one of the calls, they told me that I need to purchase a LiftMaster Gateway but on another call they told me that the 880LMV are gateways.  Is there a way to connect them both to Alarm.com?

Did you ever figure this out?  I just installed to openers (2x 8355W...mine are Liftmaster brand but i think they are the same).  I was able to add the first one to Alarm.com with no issues.  I got both openers synced to my home wifi network without any issues.  When I added the first opener to my Alarm.com account it simply asked for a serial number, and then it connected without any issues.  But Alarm.com is not giving me that option to simply input a serial number for the second one.  It's telling me to hit the learn button and they let the system search for the device, but it never finds anything.  Does Alarm.com only limit installation to one opener?

Nick - As I recall, to connect them to Alarm.com, you need to link the two 8550W to only one 880LMW as a "hub".  Each 880LMW can control one door but only one of the 880LMW can communicate with Alarm.com.  Unfortunately, don't recall exactly the steps (7 months ago).  They way I got the help was creating a ticket with Chamberlain Tech Support. They sent me the instruction on how to set it up on Alarm.com.  I replied letting them know that that did not work. They replied asking me for my phone number and they contacted me.  Their POC (Yazmin) stayed on the phone as I connected the device.  No more than 5 minutes.

I found the email traffic for the support and replied to Yazmin asking how you can get the support and I also included a link to this forum for her to see, and perhaps, reply.  If she replies directly to me with more instructions, I will post it here.

Thanks for the feedback. That’s what I was afraid of. I paid extra money to get better garage door openers that have WiFi but I really just wasted money since they won’t work without a gateway. The only reason I bought the WiFi version was to bypass the need for additional hardware. But it looks like my issue is with Alarm.com since they are the ones that have limiting software.

Yes,  it can be done BUT not by the consumer. This chain was great and helped me.  I had the same problem and I went to my Installer and he was able to enter it on the "tech" side.  Here is what he said to me " So it seems alarm.com only allows one gateway/hub to be learned in from customer side.  But on tech side can add multiple.  So was as simple as adding the serial number on the tech side.  That is once the Liftmaster was enabled."  So I added it myself for the one as Nick described.  Deleted both from the Liftmaster second app and then my installer added the second.  It was fast and works great.

Thank you all for this submission.
