Class Action Lawsuit - Who is interested?

I have consulted with a good friend who is a lawyer.  He confirmed that Chamberlain's inability to fix an issue with the MyQ Garage product - despite acknowledging that it is an issue many times - is an eligible matter for a class action suit.  The 'low battery' matter is clearly an attempt by Chamberlain to sell new products and instantly obsolete existing models.  I am compiling names of those interested in seeking damages and/or a refund from Chamberlain.  Please reply with your interest and I can file this accordingly.

Can you elaborate on this “low battery issue” please?
And is this really the way you spend your Christmas? Kinda Scrooge-like!

I would suggest anyone having this issue should tweet to  @ChamberlainDIY asking for an update.  Also include @jsohovic who is the CEO of Chamberlain.   I dont usually go to those extremes, but I think 6 weeks is long enough.  It is time to fix them or replace them.

This is the response I received this morning -

Terry, thank you for checking in about this. Our teams are actively working on a solution and we will post updates as we have them. Chuck

Sign me up, this POS makes my house unsafe and the ONLY way I was able to get the doors to stop opening was lock-down/ignore the remotes and use Only the wifi/internet app

what does a low battery on my phone have to do with the door opening at random?  I disabled the remote in the door control and the door stopped opening, so it has nothing to do with my phone since the phone is now the ONLY way I can open the door remotely

Great question Peter.  I have followed a few articles on the subject but haven't seen any recent replies.  RICHARD LEPORE there are many willing to support the suit, do you have any follow up?

I believe there were several issues however, my issue is they removed the scheduled close feature claiming it was a safety issue after selling the tool with this as one of the key features.  Then shortly thereafter launched a paid service that provides the very same feature.

I see.  I am finding a "schedule" in my app, but I do not leave my door open so I have not investigated it further.  Have they fixed the door from randomly opening?  That would make me livid.  The whole reason I installed this was for added security and knowledge of what is going on when I am away or out of sight of the door.  Valuables depend upon its functionality.......

How about the fact their only 'control' servers are located in a high temperature region that's condusive to power outages, and they don't have any backups or failovers, so customers end up with a bricked product until they figure out what's going on.
