Purchased a B750 last weekend. Complete PITA just to get the MyQ working. Wish I had found this and the other IFTTT threads before hand, but at least I found them before replacing the second GDO. Chamberlain’s stance on this, including the lame canned responses by Chuck and Lauren, are nothing but a big middle finger to their customer base. They can consider me an ex-customer...and I will work to info as many people as I can to stay away.

This looks pretty easy, I may try this over the weekend. Feel free to share this. No way I'm paying Chamberlain one red cent!!!!

How does one cancel their subscription for the IFTTT?  We're moving and our new garage door is a different brand.  Thanks in advance.

JR. They are currently working on that. Right now they offer great features right out of the box.

Bought a Gogogate2.  Integrates with IFTTT.  No payment necessary. Instructions for setup are lacking but got it working.  Not compatible with newer openers but works good for old style that just use a simple normally open contact for the buttons

I am currently using my Chamberlain gdo with total Google, IFTTT integration without the subscription. I've have a Google home mini recessed in the wall in garage and it's great to be able to ask Google to close and OPEN garage door when my hands are full. It's amazing when you get the devices you paid for work the way you want them to, and not be limited or restricted. Sad.

Sorry, how are you using it without a subscription? Is there something I don't know? I refuse to pay monthly for something that literally costs nothing.

This is what I did. But I used a remote I bought for 15 dollars instead of using the main controller. It works flawlessly! Using IFTTT and the ewelink inching relay $15. I have a Google home mini recessed in my garage wall, when I say " hey Google open garage door" she replies... "Warning garage door activated" and it works every time. Good luck.

The Hagens Berman law firm based in California pursues quite a few class action lawsuits against large companies for these types of practices. Given that Chamberlin falsely advertised the product features and the fact that it is clear they have no intentions of honoring their original claims. Several of us should reach out to see if Hagebs Berman would be interested in pursuing our case.
