Change device order on MyQ app

I'd like to change the order of the door icons on the app. Real simple: I want the top icon to be the left GDO (my wife's "Donna") and the bottom icon to control the right GDO (mine "Bill").
I can't find a way to do this.

Bill, that is a good question. Currently, changing the order of the devices is not available on the MyQ app. We appreciate you sharing your interest and will keep this feature in mind for the future of our app. Thanks, Chuck

I agree that this would be very helpful.  My Door 1 is on the right but in the app in appears on the right.

Thanks for the response. I hope that can be implemented.

Also, take a look at the set-up instructions in the manual. They really could use some updating. There's no mention of adding the serial number to the hub (which is what is required in the app). I have no clue what "the hub" is but figured it out with some trial and error.
But most importantly, when it comes time to add a second remote, the manual says to "repeat steps 1-3". That is flat-out incorrect and will not work. REALLY frustrating.

Take a look and give it shot:

I believe they are listed by device type (garage doors first then any light control devices) and then alphanumerically.  Try putting a * as the first character in the device name you want first.

BTW - this has been requested for years now so don't hold you breath.

@Sir MAK Thank you very much!! That worked.
When I registered the app, I also received an email response to the same question.
The response said: "I would be more than happy to help you. What you would have to do is clear the network setting for both openers and connect one and add it to the MyQ account. Then next, you would connect the other and add it to the MyQ account."

I like your way better!!!
This is all I wanted to accomplish:

Your are more than welcome.  Glad it worked.

I bet those instructions they sent you don't work.  They may have work before they removed the grid view from the app.

I found an easier way. Change the name of the hubs to hub 1 and hub2. Hub1 being the door you want listed first. Changing my gdo name didn't do anything but changing the hub name worked, for me

Open app. Open menu, select device management, tap hub name, rename hub.

Tried that and it didn't work.  I got an ERROR message - The serial number was invalid.  Please try again.  (301) code 301.  When I set up the hub and it automatically got the sn from the opener, it never asked me for it.  Thanks, but it didn't work.

Anyway to put in a request to have the app updated? The * trick works, but I have now more than 2 devices. Seems dumb to name them to make the program happy or to delete and re-add everything. This should be a standard option to re-order.
