I have a chamberlain MyQ Garage monitoring two chamberlain openers. Generally it works good and I'm happy with it - alerts always work great. But closing is not always reliable. Sometimes it just fails to close. After two tries it won't let you try again. It drives me nuts. Wife left the door open today, I got an alert and tried to remotely close the door. It started to work but then opened up again. Tried again and nothing happened. Drove all the way 45 minutes home and found the door wide open and the heater working hard to warm up the bitter cold driveway. Found nothing blocking the sensor. Manual control worked fine. Tried to do it again remotely and each time the chirping and light came on but it's like the signal goes into the twilight zone. Tried the other garage and it worked fine. IMHO it's just buggy at times and I would really like it if I could keep trying because frankly two errors in not reason to throw in the towel and lock out remote lock. Let me keep trying for crying-out-loud! Maybe the third time would have worked! Suggest the app or firmware let the end user set how many times until a lockout. Have your lawyers write up a bunch of stuff in the license agreement that I won't sue you if I try 99 times and it crushed my wife's chihuahua which is not coincidentally just a little shorter than the garage door sensor eyes.
