Cannot create HomeKit automation for garage door opening

I am trying to create an automation in HomeKit for a light to turn on when the garage door opens, but it’s giving me an error message saying that it cannot add the automation. Ironically, I am able to add an automation for that same light to turn off when the garage door closes, but not when it opens. As a test, I attempted to have the garage door opening trigger an automation for a lock to unlock and I received the same error message. I was actually also able to add an automation to have the garage door open when I arrive home and, in that same automation, the desired light is turned on. It appears that the problem lies with the trigger being when the garage door opens. I have contacted Apple and they’re saying it’s a problem on the Chamberlain side, which makes sense considering I can successfully add other automations involving the garage door. What do I need to do to add an automation with the trigger being when the garage door opens?
