Can Opener (8365) With MyQ Built-In Be Used As Hub For Non-MyQ opener?

I have a new Liftmaster 8365 with MyQ built-in installed for one of my garage doors.  It works fine using the MyQ app on my iPhone.

My second garage has an older, non-MyQ unit.  Can I purchase just a MyQ sensor (G821LMB-SENSOR) for my second garage door and connect it to the 8365 opener?  That is, can the 8365 opener act as a hub for additional sensors?  Or is it necessary to purchase the complete Smart Garage Hub kit (MYQ-G0301-D) to operate the older opener?

Ultimately, once I get both openers working under the MyQ system I will add a Home Bridge (MYQ-G0303-SP) to connect them to my HomeKit network.

That long response, unfortunately, didn’t answer my actual questions. Can anyone answer them?
