Bad customer service

Does anybody else find this bizarre? Yes there was a major outage yesterday that affected every customer with MyQ. But why can't MyQ post a message on its page to that effect? If they can post that we've encountered a "network error," then why not take that message one step further and say the servers or even the service is down, please try again later?

Also, I noticed that today, the day after the major outage, the customer service website does not work. Is this intentional because they don't want to hear from the valued customers who night have something to say about the situation?

I received emails yesterday afternoon on the power outage and this morning on service restoration though the email address registered on my MyQ account.

Agree. Email to existing customers is good.   But it is not good for new MyQ installation without mentioning the outage on their website.

Hi Ed,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We were able to post updated information regarding the MyQ service interruption on all of our customer facing websites yesterday and this morning when the MyQ Service was restored.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and if you missed the note, it appeared in the “About” section of the MyQ Community.  We also appreciate your feedback on our Technical Support website. In order for us to make improvements, can you please provide more details as to the what was not working specifically and the specific URL of the website that you are referring to?

Thank you in advance for your feedback as we continue to make improvements to our customer communications.
