App Says Door is Still Open Despite Closed State

The past week or so the MyQ app and/or device has been acting up and constantly out of sync. Whenever we open the door with the app or manually with the physical remote it correctly shows that the door is open, however lately whenever we close the door manually the app’s status will not change and will show that it’s still open. I’ve tried syncing the sensor by manually opening and closing the door but it just falls out of sync again. Pressing the app (in an open state) to open the closed door results in the MyQ beeping as if it’s closing, then the door will open; at this point the app appears to have re-synced itself, but the next day it falls out of sync again. I’ve checked the sensor battery and it is still healthy. Any advice or tips to resolve this would be much appreciated.

Homekit bridge is also installed with this.

I'm having the same issue after adding a bridge to my setup. The the door worked fine when using the bridge.

Thanks Chuck, tried that. They're clueless. Figured it out on my own. I suggest Chamberlain invests in having someone write better instructions.
