Forget it. They work since years and haven't even managed to get the most basic stuff done. And then want to charge you $10/year when everyone else is offering integration for free.
If your main concern is an open garage floor then you can use IFTTT. Set up a custom Applet. Your trigger is 'location'. Select the option 'when you exit an area's and put the circle on the map around your home. For the Thennpart select myq and then close garage door. That way you are sure the garage door is closed when you go further away from your home than what you set in the first step.
What Chamberlain is missing is a myq IFTTT trigger when there is an alarm. Also they don't have an IFTTT action to open the door. So it's extremely basic to the point of useless for me so I don't use it at all.
Also IFTTT can take up to 15 minutes which again makes it useless for many task, e.g. you want to turn on certain lights inside your house when you come home, etc. That's why they need to offer an API so home automation vendors and power users can do their own integration that is much faster.
