Add other users to MyQ Account

Why in this day and age is this feature not here yet?

We need the ability to add users to our MyQ accounts.

Like A Wife, Husband, Kid, Roommate, Relative, etc....

Multiple people live in my house and should be able to open the door from their phones.

I am not the only person who needs this.

I should not have to share my account with others.  That is a bad security practice and doesn't allow for tracking of who is actually opening and closing the door and when.

Get with the times and add this feature already.....  Even Wink lets you share your light bulbs with other users for crying out loud...

I'm not beta testing crap for this company, they've done nothing for our needs, not gonna help fulfill theirs. I think they're looking for astronauts anyway, still need to calculate how to get them to the moon and back before they worked on the multi-user functionality.

In the meantime... they have lowered their price to around $60.  Why?  Simply because they have realized they cannot (or do not want to) compete.  I went with the product in the link posted by @chris above and I could not be happier.  All the features we have been wanting already there, and it all works at it should.
Folks, forget this crap and go with the alternative, you will not regret it.

i just picked up a new unit for $45 on amazon!! they've obviously given up on supporting this device. have to say though, for $45 it's okay. my family is using the wink application to control the device. i just made sure that the password is unique for the myQ account and enter it my self when i setup a family members wink account.

The wife happened to get a new phone so I invited her as a new user.  I followed the directions using the wall switch but her phone failed to connect so I followed the troubleshooting for "solid green" light, which directed me to use something other than the wall button and enter the serial number, which I did.  It then said it could not be added because the opener was already assigned to another user.  Frankly, I would have been surprised if it actually worked.

Sorry, I don't use Alexa.
And as far as Multi-User account control, you invite the person using main account app. They, in turn, install the app, sign up for a NEW account (their very own), and then accept the invitation in their app. No need to go to the garage door opener at all so not sure what you mean Joseph.

I did the accept invitation on her phone and the MyQ app then went to the instructions about using the wall switch.  There was nothing about signing up for a new account before accepting invitation so I'll try that.

The email invite that is sent to the guest user says nothing about going to the GDO. It does state that the guest needs to set up a new account first, using app (easiest), on guest phone. Then use app to accept the invitation. You do have to "verify" the account email address via an email first, then log back in to app to accept.
