Add MYQ to existing non smart garage door

I have a non smart garage door.  If I purchase I new Home Hub, will this alone be enough to add the "smarts" and HomeKit compatibility?
If not, what would I need to get this to work?

Don't. Seriously. Look into Gogogate, Garagio, Linear or any one of the other countless companies that can accomplish this for you. Chamberlain can not be trusted to do the right thing...

Hi Mike,

Thanks for reaching out, and in order to make your garage door "smart" you'll need a MyQ Garage retrofit device. Then, to add HomeKit compatibility, you'll need a MyQ Home Bridge.

More info about our partnership with HomeKit here: https://www.chamberlain.com/apple-partnership

Of course, feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Mike, if there's still even a small chance that you would ever buy a Chamberlain product, just take a look around the rest of this community. Everyone is furious at Chamberlain's business decisions, and regretting their purchases.

Seriously, shop elsewhere. Any one of Chamberlain's competitors would be a better option.
