888LM Issues

I have 5 doors with 8500 openers and 888LM control panels. One of the 888LM panels died last year, would not open the door. Replaced it and the door worked fine, until last night. My alarm went off at 2:08. the door opened on it's own. I received another notification a few minutes later telling me the door closed, I have the control panel set to close the doors automatically. This happened a few more times, each time the door stayed open longer, it opened at 9:23 am and closed at 10:30. So when I got to my property to check on it, the control panel was dead, would not open the door and had no power, same as last year.
So is the problem the 8500 opener? I find it strange to have the same issue with 2 controllers on the same door, but no problems with my other 4. I know I am not the first to post this, but this is a pretty serious issue, I do not need my doors opening when I am not there, I do not like advertising what is in my garage!

Still no reply to my emails. Is there another way to "escalate" my issue?

Bill I also have 4 LIft master garage door openers with the infamous 888LM on them. Now I have a stack of 4 bad ones setting in my garage. I was gone to Alaska for 3 months and had one fail. Thanks God I had cameras all around my house to spot the opened garage door and was able to have a relative go and close it and lock it. Have you gotten any response or satisfaction regarding the issue? If not maybe its time to que up a few good attorneys and start a class action lawsuit towards them....

Don, I have never received a response. Sent to the email address they posted twice. Guess they want to look good on their forum, but they totally ignored my 2 emails to them. Just got on here and saw this, I will try again, three is a charm.
