3 Days In A Row App Says Door is Still Open Despite Closed State - This Unit Doesn't Work As Stated

I have a brand new unit installed and out of the gates the very next day, the MyQ app and/or device has been acting up and constantly out of sync.

Whenever we open and close the door with the physical garage door clicker shows that the door is open, even though physically the door is closed and we had to drop our things and drive all the way back to the house to check on the garage door, and this happened three times!

Three times, I've deleted the hub inside the app and re-added, resync and it works. Then when we leave for the day when we use the physical clicker, it starts to act up.

Any advice or tips to resolve this would be much appreciated.

You asked for advice explicitly, so here it is - DO NOT rely on this product to tell you the actual state of your garage door accurately. I wish this were not the case, but post after post and ongoing experience with the product tells me this is the right answer.

I had HIGH expectations going into this.  Sad to see that it's not working ad advertised.
